Only one girl, Grace, walked over.
« Can I sit with you? »
Esther smiled.
« Of course. »
Grace shared her lunch.
« My mother says a good friend is worth more than money. »
Years later, Esther became a successful engineer.
She returned to her old school to build a modern science laboratory.
She met Grace again.
« I never forgot your kindness. »
The two friends hugged each other.
The students watched with smiles.
Esther said,
« Never reject someone because of poverty. You don’t know the future God has prepared for them. »
Moral: True friendship is built on kindness, not wealth.
